Ikaros Park Zaventem – GIA Detectors for SAPP®ceiling

Ikaros Business Park offers business space in the form of offices, meeting rooms, showrooms and laboratories. In Unit 13/15, with a surface area of 1625 m², GIA Systems provided the unique detectors for SAPP®ceiling in combination with a pluggable cabling system. The SAPP® detectors were developed by GIA in collaboration with Interalu and have been specially adapted to the Interalu SAPP®ceiling (Smart Acoustic Passive Power): a “new generation” climate ceiling for buildings that strive for the highest standards in terms of sustainability and ecology.

The presence detectors from GIA Systems were discreetly installed between the slats to respect the open structure and the unique clean design of the climate ceilings. The detectors in the office space are programmed in presence mode, whereas the detectors in the meeting rooms are in absence mode. With the latter the lighting has to be manually activated over a push button.
