Maximum comfort in classrooms Tamarinde Primary school Zaandam

Thanks to GIA Systems lighting and sunblind control systems

The students of CBS Tamarinde in Zaandam (The Netherlands) will follow lessons in a completely new school building once the summer holidays are over. After the demolition of the old building, the construction work on the new school on Jonge Arnoldusstraat began last summer. At the end of 2017 the building was watertight and it was possible to start with
the E-installation.

Tamarinde offers children aged 2 to 12 a safe, challenging and enjoyable environment, in which they can explore and develop their talents. Commissioned by GVE Techniek, GIA Systems contributes to this environment. The efficient GIA Systems lighting control in the classrooms provides the best lighting to stimulate learning. At the same time, the system offers different scenarios, saves energy and is user-friendly for the teacher and support staff.

The complete electrical installation is pluggable with custom-made cables from GIA Systems. This ensures fast, safe and accurate installation. The well-organised cabling with  colour connector coding also makes the system much easier to maintain than traditional cabling.

De verlichting in de entree, de gangen en de buitenverlichting van het schoolgebouw worden centraal geschakeld vanuit de lerarenkamer. Vanaf dit bedieningspaneel kan het personeel naast de verlichting ook de zonwering (de zogenaamde ‘glazenwasserstand’) centraal bedienen. De zonwering werkt verder volledig automatisch en is via het GIA bussysteem gekoppeld aan een weerstation op het dak van het schoolgebouw. In de klaslokalen zelf kunnen de zonwering en de verlichting lokaal bediend worden, waarbij de verlichting door middel van een afwezigheidsdrukknop geschakeld wordt en de verlichting bij het digibord apart geschakeld kan worden.

De licht- en zonweringsturing werden volledig door GIA Systems ontwikkeld en geproduceerd in Bree, België. De installatie wordt op dit moment door engineers van GIA Systems in dienst gesteld en eind mei aan de klant opgeleverd, waarna de afwerking van het gebouw kan beginnen. De leerlingen kijken ernaar uit om na de zomervakantie het nieuwe schooljaar in hun volledig vernieuwde school te starten.
